TRACY MATERNITY SHOOT

When we did this shoot, Tracy was very, very pregnant. She was due to give birth in just three weeks.
But low and behold, the little one had ideas of her own and a few days later, Rachel was born.

The shoot took place at the beautiful Delta Park on a rather overcast day and soon after we had packed up, the skies opened and there was a tremendous downpour.

RIETVLEI NATURE RESERVE

A few weeks ago we took a trip out to Rietvlei. A good day out and some lovely sightings.

PILANESBERG GAME RESERVE

Spent a few days in the Pilanesberg Game Reserve recently where we captured these shots. After the recent rains, the grass was rather long which hindered the spotting of animals, but we were lucky enough to see nine of the eleven cheetahs in the park. We spent en enjoyable afternoon at the Mankwe bird hide overlooking the Mankwe dam, where we watched as a small egret ran around catching small fish.

MARIEVALE BIRD SANCTUARY

Marievale is a wetland situated south east of Johannesburg in South Africa. It is home to numerous bird species and is particularly active during the summer months. Here are a few images taken there over the last few visits.
